Yes, Paddy's day is almost upon us and I thought I'd write a short post................
I must admit I'm not crazy about St . Patrick's Day as it always seems to decline into a drunken slump. However , I'm still partial to wearing a little green dream.
Usually it's just an accent of the great colour , and great it is , in all its various brilliant hues. Luckily its also a colour that suits me well and is a very forgiving colour for all our fair skinned celtic friends on this magical Island.
I must admit the daytime festivities of Paddy's day are somewhat contagious , the main Parade being in the Capital of Ireland , Dublin. This parade is quite impressive with its mile long string of street performers , floats , carnival etc. Its a magic fun day and there are as many international performers as there are Irish.
There are regional and local parades all over Ireland and all colourful and vibrant just like this old Emerald Isle!
