Recap 2015 Day 3!
Good Day Folks! This the third day on my 30 day post challenge and we're still talking Instagram. Picking up from where I left off yesterday I want to continue discussing the trials and errors of Instagram. This will be of enormous benefit to me (as I write my thoughts here I realise that there is room for vast improvement on my Instagram game) and hopefully for you too, my reader, especially if you're a newbie or thinking of starting an account.
Today I want to talk PHOTOS!
Yes, they're not the easiest to magic up. My own photos are taken by the ever lovely and ever so patient Lily-Kate, my 14 year old daughter. The patience part may have been ever so slightly tinged with the remotest bit of sarcasm!!!! Sorry LILY-KATE!
In fairness to her she has been dragged out in all sorts of weather. Then she and I argue a bit as to the right poses and angles that work best. However , its true to say , the more often you do it the easier it gets and you become familiar with a few different "Looks" or "Stands" that work well for you. In this regard everyone will be different, that is, it will be a different pose or facial expression for each individual and its only through practise that you will find out which ones work best for you.
When you find them however I'd recommend you make note of them. For example, if you find you prefer a "head down" shot ,therefore giving your outfit more focus then use this several times throughout your page. Space it out though with other "Stands" that also work for you.
Of course above advice will also work for different genres, be it a foodie page or beauty etc. There will always be a particular shot and "setup" that will be your preferred one so make a note when you find it.
Continue tomorrow folks on my Instagram notes.
As usual here is another popular pic from my account. Talk tomorrow XXXXXXXX Violinkit
