Penneys Heaven!

Ah Good old Penneys!! Where would we be without it? Hmmmm.............Penneys has changed so much over the years. originally it was the place to shop for cheap basics. Today its a legitimate high street  contender for on trend cheap fashion fixes, and that is both a dilemma and a delight in disguise. The danger with Penneys is that quite easily your entire wardrobe could only consist of the "Atmosphere" labels and that is not a good thing as while the label is great for that "On Trend" moment that lasts for five minutes , its got no reliability or longevity in anyone's wardrobe. In other words you won't be wearing your classic little"Penneys"( or Primark as its called in the UK) dress again and again and rely on it to remain in good shape and timeless condition.

That's why for anyone rebooting their wardrobe it's so important to keep it mixed-up. Buy your fashion forward trendy fashion fix in Penneys but splurge out on a classic dress or quality coat somewhere else. Its better value as you'll see after numerous washes or dry cleaning. Nothing beats the use of natural wool or cotton (this is why I adore vintage so much) and these materials are few and far between these days.

Don't get me wrong , I'm a Penneys fan particularly their accessories, shoes, basics and beauty products (especially lipsticks) I recently visited the "Biggest Primark in Europe" in Manchester just a week ago. I was gobsmacked by their "Limited Edition" range. I bought two pairs of boots and could easily have bought several more but I controlled my urge!!! Ha Ha! I like to mix my look up, so like to wear high street mixed with vintage and the odd bit of designer. I think the look is more individual and authentic looking that way. Would love to hear your thoughts on how you like to wear your different looks including your delightful Penneys bargains!

Cool 90s vibe! Crew neck polo worn with same Penneys pencil skirt in Brown this one bought in Mary St Dublin for €12. These are so comfy skirts. The shoes are another Penneys purchase €18 in Dundrum Town centre. These are gorgeous!
